Travel to see three of our beautiful Southwest National Parks. Travel the first day through northern Arizona and the Navajo Reservation on our way to Kanab, Utah. As we travel into Kanab, you will experience many spectacular views of the Vermillion Cliffs. Kanab has gained fame for being the site of many western movies. It is locally known as “Little Hollywood.” We will check-in to the Holiday Inn Express in Kanab for two nights. Dinner tonight is on your own, at one of the area restaurants. On the second day, we will visit Zion National Park. Protected within the park’s 229 square miles is a dramatic landscape of canyons and soaring cliffs. After visiting part of the park and time in the lodge area, we will travel to Ruby’s Inn for lunch on your own, at the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. At Bryce Canyon National Park, erosion has shaped colorful limestone, sandstones, and mudstones into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles, and mazes. Collectively called “hoodoos”, these colorful and whimsical formations stand in horseshoe - shaped amphitheaters along the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. We will travel back to Kanab for the end to a great day of dramatic scenery. Dinner and entertainment tonight is included. The next morning after breakfast, we will travel south and visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. You will have time to enjoy the view and have lunch on your own at the North Rim. Continuing south, we will stop at Marble Canyon before arriving at our over-night accommodations; the Cameron Trading Post Lodge, along the Little Colorado River on the Navajo Reservation. The evening is free to relax along the riverbanks and have dinner on your own. Each room has the theme of an Indian hotel with hand-carved furnishings in historic Southwestern decor to provide comfort and charm during your stay. After an included breakfast, we will travel through and visit the south rim of the Grand Canyon. After lunch on your own we will head south with a rest stop along the way. We should arrive back in the valley by 6:00 P.M. This tour includes transportation, 3 nights lodging, tour guide, entrance into National Parks, three breakfasts, minimum gratuities and one dinner.
