Puerto Penasco, Mexico

This overnight tour takes you to Puerto Penasco, known as Rocky Point. This town is on the Sea of Cortez and is Arizona's closest beach. This town has beautiful sandy beaches, gorgeous sunsets, great seafood and Sonoran Style Mexican Cuisine. We will be staying at the Playa Bonita Hotel, right on the beach. Price includes transportation, one night lodging, one dinner, one lunch at Casa de Capitan, one breakfasts at the hotel, an optional local shopping and orientation tour, minimum gratuities and bottled water on the bus. This is considered our orientation trip, for those first timers that are not sure of Mexico or for those looking to just get away for one night.

Day 1                         

Depart Sonoran Plaza trip parking lot at 8:00am.

Coffee break & rest stop in Gila Bend.

Lunch included in Rocky Point at Casa del Capitan restaurant.

Arrive at the Hotel with free time to enjoy the beach.

Dinner is included this evening.

Day 2                                                 

Breakfast included at the hotel.

Check out of Hotel at 9:00am for a short orientation tour of town.

Shopping at fish market and lunch on your own along the Malecon.

Depart Rocky Point at 1:30pm.

Last minute shopping in Sonoyta.

Return around 6:30pm.

Passports are not required; proof of citizenship is required for re-entry into the U.S.
