These condominiums have been open since 1995 and they still receive many request because of their location. They are on top of the breakwater, about 10 feet up, over looking the ocean. Because they are raised up from the sea, the owners have built a strip of beach on top of the breakwater. To get to the "beach" beach, you walk about 40 yards to the path that leads down to the water (next to the Penasco Del Sol). These units are fully equipped, with kitchens, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, dishwashers, laundry rooms, satellite TV and free wireless internet use. Pinacate also has a large pool, small kiddie pool and Jacuzzi. These are the first condos built with separate villas. They are located on site with private entrance and private pool. The Pinacate check-in desk is located right below Sunset Cantina. The Pinacate condos have a gated parking lot with 24 hour security.

For all condominiums, there is a $200 per unit refundable damage deposit (most people use a credit card which is not charged) plus cleaning fees based on the size of the unit. $30.00 for a 1 bedroom, $35.00 for a 2 bedroom and $40.00 for a 3 bedroom.  They also charge a $10.00 Impact/Activity fee per unit per night and, a Damage Waiver of $20.00 for a 1 bedroom, $25.00 for a 2 bedroom and $30.00 for a 3 bedroom. We charge a 3% service fee for the rental. Three night minimum stay during holiday periods. Two night minimum stay on weekends. No 1 night reservations allowed weekdays or weekends.
