Pageant of the Masters

Southern California summer fun and exploration are yours on this tour.  Pageant of the Masters, a  festival tradition since 1933 will enchant you and delight you.

 

Day one, depart from Sun Lakes (Oakwood Country Club) at 6:30am, Paradise Valley Mall at 6:45am, Scottsdale (Classic Residence) at 7:15am, R. H. Johnson Rec. Center (aisle #18) around 9:00 am. There will be a rest stop and lunch on your own en route. After checking in to the hotel we will have an included dinner, with the rest of the evening on your own.

 

Day two, after breakfast, (included) 9:30 am departure for San Juan Capistrano for a docent tour of the Mission. San Juan Capistrano is Orange County’s oldest community. It has its swallows, history, legends and storybook heroes.
Late afternoon departure for the Sawdust Art Festival, Southern California’s oldest and best-known summer art show. Over 200 artists offer arts and crafts (painting, sculpting, pottery...and more. 2008 marks the 42nd annual summer show.
Dinner this evening at Tivoli Terrace, located inside the Pageant grounds, for dinner. After dinner, time to wander through the Pageant’s art & craft show. This evening delightful images of love and romance will come to life through the Pageant of the Master’s unique blend of breathtaking theatrical “living pictures”, along with the music performed by the Pageant’s renowned orchestra and live narration.
 

Day three, after an included breakfast we will check out of the hotel. We will then have a docent tour of the Crystal Cathedral grounds. Traveling back to the Phoenix area we will have a lunch and rest stop on your own.

 

This three day tour includes motorcoach transportation, professional tour guide, two nights at the Ayres Hotel & Suites, baggage handling, two breakfasts, two dinners, entrance to the Sawdust Festival, reserved seats at the Pageant of the Masters, docent tour of Mission San Juan Capistrano, docent tour of the Crystal Cathedral grounds, driver & guide gratuity.

 

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled on or before July 15th, 2008 you will receive a full refund, if cancelled after July 15th, 2008 no refunds, unless a replacement can be found.
