Climb aboard the Monster Truck for a 40-minute entertaining and informative tour through the ostrich ranch and desert at Rooster Coburn’s Ostrich Ranch. Hear about ostrich products, history of ostrich farming, learn about ostrich feed requirements, see breeding camps, up close view of an ostrich egg nest, feel and learn about ostrich eggs, see chick rearing barns, enjoy breathtaking views while you learn about the Saguaro cactus and Sonoran Desert , learn about Picacho Peak and its history. Then on to the Monster Truck Track & Ostrich Fishin’ hole! Yes - you read correct - Ostrich Fishin’. Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is the largest privately owned ranch in the United States and actually have the birds to prove it, over 1100 pure South African Black hens. 

Learn about open pit copper mining at ASARCO Mineral Discovery Center and mine tour. The tour begins at the discovery center. You will see how copper ore is mined in the open-pit and then processed in the mill to extract the copper and other minerals. The first stop on the tour is the Open-Pit Viewpoint of Mission Mine; binocular telescopes provide a close-up view of the trucks and shovels working in the mine. The Mission Mine is a quarter-mile deep, two by one& three-quarter miles wide. About six times the amount of earth moved to dig the Panama Canal has been mined here. Each year the mine has the capacity to process about 475,000 tons of copper concentrates which yields 130,000 tons of copper and 2 million ounces of silver.

Full refund if canceled more than 15 days before tour. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with less than 15 days notice. If Synergy Tours & Cruises cancels the tour for any reason all paid participants will receive a full refund.
