We will visit the Superstition Mountain Museum with a collection that preserves and displays the artifacts, history and folklore of the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction and the surrounding region. Perhaps nowhere in the entire United States is there an area full of legend, history and intrigue as the rugged 160,000 acre Superstition Mountain range in Central Arizona. Then we will travel up to Canyon Lake, for an included lunch at Lakeside Restaurant. After lunch experience a "Mark Twain" Voyage aboard The Dolly Steamboat, a replica of a Double-decked Sternwheeler. Cruise the secluded inner waterways of the "Junior Grand Canyon" on Canyon Lake. Relax while you admire the breathtaking flora and fauna of the lower Sonoran desert and listen to our captain recount some of the legends and lore about the Superstition Mountains. Bring your camera and binoculars; you may be fortunate enough to spot some Bighorn Sheep. This tour includes motorcoach transportation, lunch at Lakeside Restaurant, a ride on the Dolly Steamboat, bottled water on the motorcoach and all taxes and minimum gratuities.

                          8:15 am             Depart Sonoran Plaza trip parking area.

                          9:00 am             Depart Glendale Adult Center.

                        10:00 am             Visit Superstition Mountain Museum

                        12:00 pm             Lunch at Lakeside Restaurant

                          2:00 pm             Cruise Canyon Lake on the Dolly Steamboat

                          6:00 pm             Return

Full refund if canceled more than 30 days before tour. 50% refund if canceled 30-15 days before tour. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with less than 15 days notice. If Synergy Tours & Cruises cancels the tour for any reason all paid participants will receive a full refund.
