Crown King is rich in history. Experience an echo of the past when Crown King was a booming gold mining town. The first gold mine was claimed on July 1st, 1875, and Crown King’s post office was established June 29th, 1888.
See the devastation from the Lane Two fire. Nearly missing the town of Crown King! The now-living ghost town is located in the pine-laden forest of the Bradshaw Mountains, in the Prescott National Forest. Clear, fresh mountain air, endless blue skies by day, breathtaking mountain views with true peace and tranquility await you. Crown King offers you the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and history of this secluded ghost town, 6000 feet above the desert floor. We will travel the dirt road up to Crown King and have lunch on your own, at one of the two restaurants in town. Price includes van transportation.
The van departs from the Sonoran Plaza trip parking area at 8am and returns around 5:30pm. Other departure locations & times T. B. A.
Full refund if canceled more than 15 days before tour. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with less than 15 days notice. If Synergy Tours & Cruises cancels the tour for any reason all paid participants will receive a full refund.
