Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering

   The Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering features the romance & nostalgia of the West in a blend of cowboy poetry, singing, yodeling, stories of old-time ranchers & cowboy music.

The gathering will be held at the Yavapai Community College in Prescott. Prescott is rich with history of poetry and prose, which is well known throughout the world. The gathering is home of the Gail I. Gardner Award for a Working Cowboy Poet and attracts not only poets and musicians of distinctive western heritage but also artists that celebrate and commemorate the life of the working cowboy. At the Yavapai Performance Hall on campus, 40 poets and musicians will participate in sessions throughout the day. That is a lot of music and poetry! Running concurrent sessions throughout the day will give you the opportunity to sample a variety of poems, prose and songs. There will be a two-hour lunch break from 12-2, at which we will go into downtown for lunch on your own.

There are dozens of well-known poets in the state of Arizona, and every year at the Gathering in Prescott they present many of them to you in venues that are intimate and enriching. If you have never been, you do not know what you have been missing! If you have been here before, this is sure to be a great year for the Gathering in Prescott.

This trip includes transportation. You may bring or buy your lunch. This trip requires a minimum of 30 people to be operated in a motorcoach; otherwise, vans will be used for this trip.

Tour departs from the Glendale Adult Center at 7:00 am and will return around 6 pm.

Tour departs from the R. H. Johnson Rec. Center aisle #24 at 7:30 am and will return around 5 pm.

Tour departs from the Sonoran Plaza trip parking lot at 8:00 am and will return around 5 pm.

Full refund if canceled more than 30 days before tour.  50% refund if canceled 30-15 days before tour.  No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with less than 15 days notice.  If Synergy Tour Resources cancels the tour for any reason all paid participants will receive a full refund.
